About UCCS PGA Golf Management Program

In partnership with The Professional Golfers’ Association of America, the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs offers outstanding academic and professional training that prepares graduates to excel in exciting and fulfilling careers in the golf industry. This program includes:
• Bachelor of Science in any of the Business Areas of Emphasis degree
• 16-18 months of supervised internships at top quality sites
• All three checkpoints in the PGA’s professional training program
• Development of playing ability
• Career-enhancing and character-developing extracurricular activities
• GolfTEC computerized swing and practice lab
• State of the art club repair lab
• PGA experienced program team
• Pine Creek Golf Club membership

Successful completion of all phases of the program qualifies graduates to apply for membership in the PGA of America.

Upon graduation, PGA Golf Management students are well qualified to enter into a variety of business careers in the golf industry. Generally, 100% of PGA Golf Management students are placed following graduation. The business degree also opens many opportunities not available to graduates of non-business PGA Golf Management Programs.
UCCS PGA Golf Management program is one of twenty accredited PGA Golf Management University Programs. They received their initial accreditation from the Professional Golfers’ Association of America in 2003. Their roster includes nearly 120 students from more than twenty-five different states and several countries including Gibraltar, Australia and Canada. This number represents a major success and proof that they are quickly gaining a national reputation as a great program.
